Egan is a slimeball that blackmailed McCarthy into retirement. The Catholic Church lost one of its few good preists all because of a grudge between Egan and John O'Connor steming back to the 1980's.

Send Egan back to Rome where he can rest in peace, in hell. The skeletons in his closet are plenty, Bridgeport has a treasure of stories.
