[edit] Bio
If there is anyway to add information such as his High School or programs he attended into the page that would be awesome. I was trying to think of how to but I couldnt figure out a way. Acidskater 05:05, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
- Hi, Acidskater. I won't be editing my article, but here are a few links to help answer your questions.
- I was actually born in Syracuse, New York, not Raleigh as it currently says on my bio entry. My family moved to Raleigh when I was four years old.
- I graduated from Raleigh Charter High School in 2004 (not 2003 as it says on the Raleigh Charter Wikipedia entry).
- Here’s an article to prove that I went to Raleigh Charter High School.
- I'm not sure anyone would care about this for my article, but just in case, I also graduated from The Magellan Charter School in 2000.
- In high school, I participated in several programs for students interested in government and international affairs, and had leadership roles in many of them. For example, I served as a Tri-Speaker for the 2003-2004 session of the North Carolina Youth Legislative Assembly. I don't know of any media articles that can verify that. A lot of people could, though.
- From January to June of 2003, I served as a Congressional Page in the United States House of Representatives. After the Mark Foley scandal broke in October, 2006, I conducted about 35 media interviews in a one-week period to defend the Page Program as a safe and positive experience for young people. Here are links to three of those interviews, but unfortunately, they require log-in.
- Here's an article quoting me about the page program that does not require log-in -

- Thanks James. If you go to my userpage you might recognize me from my picture from YLA. Anyway, thank you for all the information and sources. Acidskater 15:10, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] thumbnail replaced
I've replaced the thumbnail depicting Mr. Kotecki together with Sen. Paul by one depicting Kotecki alone. The latter pic enjoys two advantages over the former. Firstly, it was added to Commons by Kotecki himself (see [1]), and released to the public domain. Secondly, the former picture gives undue free exposure to a political candidate, in preference of the other ones. Itayb 12:54, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
