I removed the following phrase, which appears to be the 1911 Britannica's, from the entry on the Critical History:
- a book unique of its kind in England at the time of its appearance and one which adds materially to the knowledge of Christian antiquities as deduced from the apostolic fathers
I'm not quite sure what exactly "its kind" is supposed to be; it may mean simply book exercising the higher criticism. I suspect "unique" means only book in print in English. These would be factual claims if verified. I am sure that the present phrasing is non-neutral. JCScaliger 04:08, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
