[edit] BSG Paragraph
I'm not sure the following paragraph/section (see this rev) belongs:
- Battlestar Galactica
- In 2003, the cult Battlestar Galactica (1978 TV series) was brought back to life, albeit in a reimagined form, as a three hour miniseries. The project was written and produced by Ronald D. Moore and directed by Michael Rymer. James Callis starred as Dr. Gaius Baltar in the Colonial Fleet, in the reimagined Battlestar Galactica (TV miniseries). The Miniseries effectively served as pilot for a potential TV show. A TV series was commissioned in a collaberative effort between the Sci Fi Channel (United States) and Sky TV (the British broadcaster). Battlestar Galactica is filmed mostly in Vancouver, Canada and is currently in its third season.
It has too much that's not specifically related to Callis. It might look good in a news article, but I think for an encyclopedia, most of it isn't relevant. A summary and a link to the show article should be sufficient. I'm merging it with the previous section, and removing the show background stuff. I've seen several of these pop up in BSG actor articles, and I think the same needs to be done there as well. --Fru1tbat 17:43, 28 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Degree
I have removed a note in the Early Life section saying that James Callis graduated from the University of York with a 4.0 degree. He didn't. UoY Bachelors degrees are in the British style, First Class, Upper Second, Lower Second, Third Class, Pass. I'm guessing the 4.0 is a good degree from an American university, so is probably what we would call First Class, but have not been able to find a reference to this online. --Nickpheas 22:26, 12 September 2007 (UTC), University of York, 1986-1989
