Jamshed is a common boy's name among Zoroastrian Parsees in India. The name has several variants of spelling - Jamshed, Jamsheed, Jamshedji, Jamsetji, Jamshedji, Jamshedjee, and Jamsetjee. Some famous Jamsheds are Jamsetjee Jeejebhoy, Jamsetji Tata, Jamshed Khan Jadoon, Junaid Jamshed and Jamshed Mulla. The 'ji' or 'jee' at the end of the name signifies respect.
