James Thiérrée is the director and production designer of "Au Revoir Parapluie" performed at the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM).[1]
He is the son of Jean-Baptiste Thiérrée and Victoria Chaplin,[2] and the grandson[3] of actor Charlie Chaplin. He started as a child performer in his parents' company,[4] Le Cirque Imaginaire, later Le Cirque Invisible.
