James McPike

James McPike (makka) (born 4th October 1988) is a professional footballer, currently playing at Birmingham City F.C. He is a local boy, who joined Birmingham as a 13-year-old from Shenley Radford FC.
He went to Turves Green School and has a younger brother called Mitchell who is also at the club, and scored at under 18's level recently.
McPike was a prolific goalscorer at Under 15 and Under 16 level and was top scorer in the 2004-2005 season in the Under 18s while still at school. season. He signed a two year professional contract on his 17th birthday. At the end of the 2007-08 season McPike was given a Mercedes-Benz car by Olivier Kapo after the apprentice spent the season cleaning the Frenchman's boots.[1]
His father Paul was a former professional with West Bromwich Albion.
