James (Jim) Kring is the president of James Kring, Inc., a California-based systems integration company. An internationally-recognized LabVIEW software engineer, Kring is an important proponent and advocate of open source software in the LabVIEW programming language community.
He has also helped establish OpenG, a community dedicated to open source LabVIEW software and tools.
James Kring, Inc. has released VI Package Manager, a LabVIEW-based, cross-platform tool for deploying LabVIEW libraries and development tools.
