James Gallier, Jr. was a prominent architect in New Orleans, Louisiana.
He was born in 1829.[1] His father, James Gallier was also a New Orleans architect.

- The Third Christ Church Cathedral on Canal Street (1846). No longer exists.
- Gallier House on Royal Street (1857), in the French Quarter. A National Historic Landmark
- French Opera House on Bourbon Street (1859), in the French Quarter. Burned.
