James "Jim" Erb (b. 1926, La Junta, Colorado) is an American composer, arranger and conductor. He is best known for his various arrangements of the Folk song "Oh Shenandoah". He conducted the Richmond Symphony chorus during 35 years and retired in 2007. He is married to Ruth Erb who is running the book company Book People in Richmond.
