James Ennes Jr.

James Ennes Jr., full name James Marquis Ennes, Jr., is the author of Assault on the Liberty (Random House, 1980; Ballantine Book, 1980; Reintree Press 2004, 2007) which tells the story of the Israeli attack on the <a href="http://www.gtr5.com"> USS Liberty </a>.

He is a survivor of the attack and one of the creators of The USS Liberty Memorial Web Site, is an American citizen and a retired career US Naval Officer. He was born in New Jersey in 1933 and was raised in New York, Texas, Illinois, Washington State and California.
