              Jamaliya Muslim Maha Vidyalaya. 

This is a very famous school situated at Batagolladeniya in the district of Kandy in Sri Lanka.This was started in 1978 as a primary scool with small number of children.First principal of this school was A.H.M.Naeem.With the blessing of the government and with the help of the parents it has grown very fast.Late pradesha saba member mr.M.H.M.Nazeer worked very hard to develope this school. In 1989 retired principal Mr.N.A.Azeez took inchrge of this scool. His period was the golden era of this school.Within 3 years it got the best result in the region and showed brilliant progress in all the other fields.In short time it got Many buildings , Play ground Science laboratory and other facilities.Educational side it was the best school in kandy and sent may students to the university.It became a Maha Vidyalaya and started Arts and commers A/Level classes.Mr. Azeez Retired in 1996. It was a great loss to the school. Later Mr.S.H.M.Riyaldeen became the principal.Now with about 600 students this school is going forward in education and serving the students of the tregion .
