Jakob Kjersem

Jakob Kjersem (born 2 August 1925) is a former Norwegian long-distance runner who specialized in the 10,000 metres. He represented Tresfjord IL.

At the 1948 Summer Olympics he finished twelfth in the 10,000 m final, and at the 1952 Summer Olympics he finished in 24th place in the marathon. [1] He never became Norwegian champion in these events. [2]

His personal best time was 30:13.8 minutes, achieved in August 1956 on Stavanger stadion. [3]
