Jakob Dont

Jakob Dont (March 2, 1815 - November 17, 1888) was an Austrian violinist, composer, and teacher.
He was born and died in Vienna. He was taught by Joseph Böhm and Georg Hellmesberger, Sr. at the Konservatorium Wien.
Among his students was Leopold Auer.
