Jake Bell

Jake Bell is a freelance satirical writer and children's book author. His work has been featured in CRACKED Magazine and on CRACKED.com. He is the creator of "I Think My Teacher is a Superhero," a novel with spot illustrations by Jacob Chabot, and author of "Stinky Stella," a picture book with art by Chris Giarrusso.

Jake attended Arizona State University graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism & Mass Communication in 1997 and an MBA from the W.P. Carey School of Business in 2005. Bell has a tattoo of Sparky and the ASU logo on his left shoulder. While a student, Bell interned with both Miramax Films and the Milwaukee Brewers.

Prior to joining CRACKED, Bell was a sports reporter and anchor for NBC affiliates KYMA in Yuma, Arizona and WJHG in Panama City Beach, Florida. He was also head writer at Ye Olde Comick Booke Blogge, a blog about comic books.
