I completely disagree with the placement of the merger tag on this page. It's not this page that needs to be merged with The Bionic Woman, but some details of the PLOT section of The Bionic Woman that need to be moved here. This page should be about the character of Jaime Sommers; that page should be about the history of the television program.—CzechOut 00:06, 1 October 2006 (UTC)

Then place a merge to template in the plot section for Bionic Woman, and a Merge From template in here and start a discussion about it. Or just be bold and move the info that you don't think should be over there. Hewinsj 13:03, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

Please note that the original comment dates back to October of 2006 and no longer refers to a current issue. No merge occurred and the tag was subsequently removed. Since then there's been expansion done of both this article and the one for Steve Austin so I don't believe there's any current desire to merge anything. If the new series continues, a case could be made for splitting off the current Michelle Ryan incarnation into her own article. 23skidoo 14:15, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

What is the source for information regarding the date of her parents car crash, her birth year, etc.? I don't recall any of this being mentioned on screen. I could be wrong. Also, for some reason Jaime's infobox said she held the rank of colonel. I'm assuming that's a holdover from the box being copied from the Steve Austin page. 23skidoo 15:08, 13 January 2007 (UTC)

I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. I've been able to shorten this article down a bit by removing most of the discussion regarding the 2007 version of the character, as a separate article on her has now been created. Most of what was here wasn't really useable in the new article, however, because it mostly dealt with early press reports about casting, etc -- material now outdated since the series has now debuted. 23skidoo 13:37, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
