Jairo Arrieta Obando (born 25 August 1983) is a Costa Rican soccer player, who plays for Deportivo Saprissa.
Before moving to Saprissa, he played for A.D. Guanacasteca and Brujas F.C..
He is an extremely quick striker, with natural skills for scoring, both with his feet and his head. He played with Costa Rica's U-23 team at the 2004 Summer Olympics. Has scored only four goals in a largly disappointing 06/07 season but scored a vital goal in the 88th minute vs Heredia sparking a historic comeback.
