Jaime is a common Spanish and Portuguese masculine given name for James or Jamie
In eastern Spain, Jacobus became "Jacome" or "Jaime"; in Catalonia, it became "Jaume".
In western Spain it became "Iago", in Portugal and Galicia it became "Tiago".
