Jagriti ("The Awakening") is a Hindi film released in 1954.

The film is about a spoiled rich kid who eventually reforms himself, but is now remembered largely for its patriotic songs, written by Pradeep and set to music by Hemant Kumar. It features no well-known stars, and its actors have remained largely unknown.

The film was copied in 1957 Pakistani film "baidari". Even the songs were copied by replacing "Hindustan" by "Pakistan".^[1]
