Jaglot

Jaglot is a town in Gilgit District, Pakistan. Located 45km south of Gilgit on the Karakoram Highway (KKH), Jaglot is a business hub of the Northern Areas and is the biggest oil, wheat and flour depot of the Northern Areas. The population is approximately 3400 with an education ratio of 20%. Jaglot has about 15 villages including Damote, Chakarkot and Gasho Pahote and is a junction point of three mountain ranges, the Karakoram, Himalayas and Hindu Kush.
