Jafar Zafarani (Persian: جعفر زعفرانی) is an Iranian mathematician. He is a professor at the University of Isfahan. His research interests include functional analysis and nonlinear functional analysis.

Jafar Zafarani started at the University of Tehran where he got a BSc in Mathematics (1969) and he completed his D.Sc. under supervision of Prof. G. H. Garnir and Prof. J.Schmets at the University of Liège, Belgium in 1974.
