Jadyn Maria is a pop singer born in Puerto Rico.[1]

When she was 17, Jadyn was signed to EMI.[2] Under the name Jadyn Strand, she sang alongside Avalon band member Jody McBrayer in the song "Never Alone (Nunca Solo)" on his 2002 solo album, This is Who I Am. Later, she recorded a cover of U2's "With or Without You" with GRITS on the U2 tribute album In the Name of Love: Artists United for Africa.

Since her most famous songs were recorded with Christian artists, Jadyn's popularity declined when she starting creating songs of a more sexually suggestive nature (such as "Single, Sexy, and Searching"), and filmed a TV commercial for the sensual Clairol Herbal Essences advertising campaign, which appeared on What I Like About You, starring Amanda Bynes. She also acted in this episode titled "Split Ends."

In 2006, she was a contestant on ABC's reality music show The One: Making a Music Star. The show was cancelled only several episodes after its premiere.

On her MySpace page, Jadyn has indicated that she has been signed to Universal Music Group. Her latest single, Catwalk, has been featured on the MTV show The Hills.[3]
