Father Jérôme (he signed Hierosme), brother of Charles and uncle of Gabriel Lalemant, of the Province of France; born at Paris, April 27, 1593; entered the Society at Paris, Oct. 20, 1610 (al. Oct. 2, 1609); arrived in Canada, June 25, 1638; died at Quebec, Jan. 26, 1673.
