Talk:Jacob Taubes
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Some vandal wrote "Boy toucher" in the stub. This is absolutely wrong because Taubes was a womanizer.Of course I will delete this nonsense--Eagle22 06/09/2006
Maybe this is helpful for expanding the article: Taubes was a gnostic and messianic thinker, and believed in apocalypse. He tried to put Judaism and Christianity together, and therefore he was in touch with Carl Schmitt though he -- Schmitt -- was an anti-semite. Taubes had a bipolar disorder and had to go quite often in a psychiatric clinic. I cannot expand the article by myself because I'm German, and my English isn't good enough.
