Does anyone remember seeing Jackyl WAY back in the late 80s? Myrtle Beach, SC at that place at the edge of the boardwalk....Rockburger?

This band is a bunch of good ol' southern boys. When I first heard them I was listening to "The Lumberjack Song" and thought you have got to be kidding me. Is that a chainsaw?? But it didn't take long for them to grow on me and become one of my selective favorite few bands. Jesse James Dupree is quite the showman, with his long hair and "Dirty Little Mind." It's a show like no other though when he fires that chainsaw up and actually plays it. It is one of the coolest things I have ever seen. He usually cuts up a bar stool too, and I have almost enough pieces to make a new stool. You get the sounds, the smell of gasoline and rock and roll to boot. Roman Glick thumps that bass. Jeff Worley can play that guitar and the looks he gets on his are priceless. Chris Worley can pound out a beat on his drums and the fact that he ALWAYS plays in his underwear is a treat. You can tell he and Jeff are brothers, cause he gets those naughty looks going too!! Their music is kinda bluesy sometimes, but the chainsaw is the bomb- diggity, baby. Jesse's microphone stand is a big shotgun or some type of big rifle, which he fires off usually at the end, and the cord to the microphone is a big ol' bull whip. Yeahhhh, Yeahhhh!! - Interesting Wikitrivia - this article attracted the 100 millionth edit on Wikipedia on 12 January 2007. Unfortunately, it had to be reverted as it was vandalism. But oh well, this band still appears to be setting its own records in 2007 :) Orderinchaos78 05:09, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
