[edit] Law career
BaseballLibrary [1] states that he studied law at North Christian University (which I can find no material about) but never practiced; however, his Sporting News obit stated that he studied law at Northwestern University and indeed practiced for a number of years intermittently. I'm not going to guess at which school is correct, but to be on the safe side I've deleted the comment about his never practicing. MisfitToys 23:20, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
