Talk:Jack & Bobby
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Something to note:
The show's present-day story line takes place in Hart, Missouri, where Jack and Bobby attend Truman High School. It is a fictional setting, but both places exist: Truman High School, the home of the Patriots, exists in Independence (just short of the Miracle Mile on Noland Road). Hart is an unincorporated village at the end of State Route Z in Macon County.
Plains State is not a university in Missouri, but the real Hart's only 45 miles away from Truman State University in Kirksville.

Additional notes:
I was hoping that Hart would seem strikignly similar to Warrenburg, home of Central Missouri State University, but a newsclip from the episode concerning election night included the logo for KPLR, the WB affiliate in St. Louis. (Oddly, Channel 11 is also New York City's WB affiliate.)

[edit] The Show's Title
It is quite obvious, although not provable, that the title has a vague reference to JFK and his brother, Robert Kennedy. Both become politicians, one dies, the other runs in his memory. The reference is quite obvious, but alas, not provable. Please, stop remove it from the page. Let the citation needed tag stand as it is over that statement.
