Jacques Morel (May 29, 1922 Paris - April 9, 2008 Paris) was a French film and television actor. He was, perhaps, best known as the French language voice of the cartoon character, Obelix, in the animated adpatation of the comic book, Asterix.[1]

Jacques Morel died in Paris, France on April 9, 2008, at the age of 85.[1]
