Judge Jacob D. Fuchsberg served on the New York Court of Appeals as an associate judge.

He graduated from New York University School of Law.
[edit] Legal career
He worked as a trial lawyer and from 1957 to 1959, he served as President of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association. From 1963 and 1964, he served as President of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.
In 1974, he served on the New York Court of Appeals until he retired in 1983 and established the Jacob D. Fuchsberg law firm with his two children Rosalind and Alan.
[edit] Touro College & Touro Law Center
He served on the Board of Trustees of Touro College and assisted in the establishment of Touro Law Center. Touro Law Center was named in his honor as Jacob D. Fuchsberg School of Law.
