Jack Girard Taschner (born on April 21, 1978 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin) is a relief pitcher in Major League Baseball. He currently plays for the San Francisco Giants. He went to University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. He was drafted by the Giants in the 2nd round in 1999 MLB Draft. Taschner first reached the Major Leagues as a mid-season call-up in 2005. In 2006, he started the season back in the Minor Leagues with the Triple-A Fresno Grizzlies, but was called up for three separate stints with the Major League club.
