Jabal Saraj or Its Arabic name (Jabal-ul-Siraj) is one of the most beautiful areas and distrcits of Parwan province located north of the capital Kabul. Jabal Saraj is also located on the way to Salang Pass and it is surrounded by high peaks of mountains. jabal Saraj is a historic city of Afghanistan named as it is currntly name by King Habibullah in the beginning of the 20th century as this city was one of the favourite sigjtseeing areas for the King. The ruins of the palace and the other ancient sites can be seen as the city experienced conquences of the Communist Regime's invasion of Afghanistan.
