I believe if the (Pain Is Love) sold 6 Million in the U.S., it is certified x6 Platinum by the RIAA. Unless it sold another 3 million after it was certified x3 platinum, I don't understand. - Obscure888

RIAA and U.S. sales are different things. It may have sold over 6 million, but that doesn't mean the RIAA automatically certify it. It is up to the record company to officially apply for the plaque. And judging by http://www.riaa.org/goldandplatinumdata.php?table=SEARCH, it seems they haven't done so yet. It should be 6x Platinum, but if it's not officially certified on the RIAA website, then the article has to go with that. Spellcast 17:47, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
