J P Chenet is made by the producer GCF Groupe, a privately owned French business that is the largest wine exporter in the country based in Petersbach and also produced in Landiras, France. It produces Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, Columbard Chardonnay, Cabernet Syrah, Merlot Cabernet as well as various sparkling wines. It is also famous because of its specially curved bottle, which was designed in the year 1991. The wine is one of the top 10 UK retail wine brands and the best selling European wine brand in the UK.
