Sinclair was born at Royal Prince Alfred (RPA) on 28th December 1994 to Kerrie Ward (homemaker) and Jacin Sinclair (Football Player). He attended Putney Primary from Years Kindergarten to 6.

He now attends Holy Cross College, Ryde in Year 8.

Jake's has 1 Sister Tyra-Mae Sinclair and 1 Brother Daine Francis Sinclair. His Parents got married in 1998 and got divorced in 2003. Jake is currently living in Ryde, Sydney with his brother and sister and mother. His father lives in Woolich, Sydney.
