[edit] MVP
Haven't you seen a cardiologist? They need to scan your organs. the_undertow talk 21:03, 26 July 2007 (UTC)
- I have it. Everyone's symptoms are different. Have you had an echocardiogram? That shows exactly the severity of your MVP. Also, do you have an anxiety disorder? Are you on meds? I'm no doctor, but everyone in my family has this thing. the_undertow talk 01:01, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
The only symptom I get is it feels like my heart does flip flops, or skips a beat, or takes a giant beat. It makes me freak for a second. I found out I had it when I was a freshman in college. I'm not on meds for it. You need to not mess with your beta blocker dosage unless you have permission. Don't ever skip a dose either. Ask about clonazepam. It keeps me mellow without being drowsy. I would also get a second opinion if you can afford it. MVP is tricky, so it's best to have another dr look at it. And I will have episodes every day for a week and then nothing for 6 months. the_undertow talk 01:14, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
