J.B. Bobo

J.B. Bobo (born February 11, 1910 in Texarkana, Texas, died 1996)[1] [2] was a magician most known for his work and writing in the arena of coin magic.

His work entitled Modern Coin Magic (originally published in 1952) is still considered today to be a core reference [3] [4] by most magicians.[5]

He also authored, Watch This One! A collection of choice magical effects with small objects.

Bobo's great grandfather Jean Beaubeaux who, when immigrated to America, was induced to spell his name Bobo the the way Beaubeaux is pronounced in French.
