"J'ai tout oublié" is a 2001 recorded as a duet by the French artist Marc Lavoine and the Italian singer Cristina Marocco. The song was released on November 19, 2001, as the second single from Lavoine's eighth album, just entitled Marc Lavoine. It reached number one on the French Single Chart, thus becoming to date the most successful single of the singer in France.
The song was written by Marc Lavoine and the music composed by Georges Lunghini, Elsa's father. This song allowed Lavoine to take up with the success, because its previous single failed to reach Top 50. "J'ai tout oublié" was much aired on many radios such as NRJ.[1]

In France, the single went straight to the top ten (#8) on November 27, 2001. It then dropped out of the ten but hit again #9 two weeks later. It gained a few places almost every week, until reaching number-one, in its 14th week, and stayed there for two weeks. After that, the single almost didn't stop to drop on the chart. It totaled 18 weeks in the top ten, 27 weeks in the top 50 and 30 weeks in the Top 100.[2] It achieved Gold status[3] and was ranked respectively #69[4] and #20[5] on 2001 and 2002 End of the Year Charts.
On the Ultratop (Top 40), the single was charted for 21 weeks, from December 8, 2001, to April 27, 2002, including 11 weeks in the top ten. After reaching its highest position, #4, in its 13th week, the single kept on drop on the chart.[6] It was certified Gold disc[7] and featured at #50 on 2002 Annual Chart.[8]
