In the biography section, there is a statement that “in 1650 he was again living in Clerkenwel” but there is no previous reference to Clerkenwell in the article. What is the significance of “again”? Furry 13:02, 22 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Trivia?

Is it appropriate to 'demote' the location of the IW Hotel to trivia. It's location and naming are directly related to IW's work on that stretch of the Dove... Bob aka Linuxlad 20:32, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Snowclone?

If this is the origin of the habit of titling things The Compleat..., I'd like to see a mention of that. (Given how many times I've seen people attempt to "correct" this spelling, I think it's significant enough. --Wintersweet 04:23, 20 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Dad a tippler?

The article says Walton's father was a 'tippler'. The link leads to a kind of pigeon, if I recall correctly. If the father was an alcoholic, or habitual drinker, perhaps these words can be used. Does anyone know?Alpheus (talk) 22:07, 30 March 2008 (UTC)

I would guess that the error crept in from reading this passage:

Assuming that his father was not a pigeon, I have changed the wording to "landlord of a tavern". Ogg (talk) 20:00, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
