[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Iwu logo.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Iwu logo.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Thanks, but how exactly do I insert a rationale tag? I thought I did everything needed to cite that photo.

Oops, that's not a good picture anyway - you can go ahead and delete it. -iwualum05
[edit] Beckham
If you have sources that say that Beckham helped design the kit, then insert it. However, the source given says nothing about him helping to design the kit, and is not a reputable source per WP:CITE. Additionally, please stop inserting that he has appeared in two league games and scored one goal. The SuperLiga games and goals do not count towards the tally in the infobox. Also, do you have a source for the claim that Beckham is the new Captain? Wearing the armband for one game does not make him the full-time captain....again, if you don't have sources, it's not going to remain in the article. Batman2005 08:12, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
Dude, you're obviously clueless. For one, I never touched the league appearances and goal chart, so there goes your credibility out the window! Per Wikipedia regulations, it is not necessary to cite widely-known information - and the fact that Beckham helped design the logo and kits is well known. It's not my fault that you didn't hear about it. So don't give me this weak threat shit about "not going to remain in the article" - I'm fully aware of the rules and you're full of BS! Also, everyone knows that Becks would eventually be the Galaxy captain - this was his first chance to be, as any footballer knows that you can't be captain when you don't start matches (which up to this match, he hadn't).
-
- You are quite mistaken i'm afraid. Material which is, or could be, the source of debate must be sourced. There are no sources I have been able to find which say that Beckham helped to design the new kit. Nor are there any sources which say that Beckham is now the fulltime captain for the Galaxy. Please attempt to provide sources for these claims or they will be reverted. Also, please remain civil in your edits and edit summaries, you can (and will be - it has happened to me) blocked for it. Batman2005 08:27, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
Don't threaten me chochy! I've already reported YOU to an administrator for vandalizing the Galaxy page and he said he would be investigating you. You better be careful.
-
- I am sorry that you seem to be unable to remain civil, and unable to provide sources for your edits. You're being awfully disruptive to the editing process. Note that you are violating multiple wikipedia policies and coming close to violating others. Please try to make only constructive edits and be less disruptive. Batman2005 08:36, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Blocked indefinitely (again)
Iwualum05, you have been blocked indefinitely per WP:ANI#Sockpuppet making disruptive edits.Proabivouac 08:48, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
- As mentioned above, You've been blocked indefinitely since it appears likely that you're a(n abusive) sock of User:Englandfan7. Now, with respect to the aforementioned football player having been involved in the design of this or that logo, if it is that well-known, then it should be easy enough to reference. But the onus is always on the individual introducing a claim to provide pertinent citations upon request. Thanks. El_C 08:55, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Iwuwildcats logo.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Iwuwildcats logo.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 01:46, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Image source problem with Image:Willowcreek.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Willowcreek.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 18:34, 25 March 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Royalbroil 18:34, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
