Ivan Pyryev

Ivan Pyryev (ru: Ива́н Алекса́ндрович Пы́рьев) (November 4, 1901 - February 7, 1968) was a Soviet Russian film director and screenwriter. His film The Brothers Karamazov (1969), which he co-directed with Kirill Lavrov and Mikhail Ulyanov, was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film.
