Ivan Pelizzoli (born November 18, 1980 in Bergamo, Lombardy) is an Italian football (soccer) goalkeeper, formerly of A.S. Roma, who currently plays for FC Lokomotiv Moscow of Russian Premier League.

[edit] Career

After playing for Atalanta and Triestina from 1997 to 2000, he made his Serie A debut with Atalanta in 2000-2001 and gained consideration as one of the best young goalkeepers in Italy. In the following summer he was signed by 2001 Italian champions AS Roma, for €1.5 million, where he remained until 2005 with different luck. In 2005 he went to play for Reggina, and on January 31, 2007 he was bought by Lokomotiv Moscow FC, who signed him for 3 million Euros to a 4-year contract.

Pelizzoli made his international debut in 2003, and was one of three overage players repesenting Italy at the 2004 Summer Olympics.
