IUCN category

The World Conservation Union (IUCN) administers two category systems:
- IUCN Protected Area categories — categories for the management of protected areas (I through VI);
- IUCN Red List of Threatened Species categories — Categories evaluating the imperilment of wildlife species (Least Concern through to Extinct).
