Ittu Oromo

Ittu (also spelled Ituu) is one of the divisions of the Oromo people. This subgroup lives dominantly in the present-day Mirab Hararghe Zone. The correct term for the land of Ittus is "Chercher" or "Ona Ituu" (the Ittu Province).
Ittus are divided into 10 sub-divisions: Baye, Wayye, Aroji, Babo, Gadula, Wachale, Alga, Gamo, Qalu, and Galan
