They strive to become an academically rigorous educational setting, while continuing to offer a variety of relevant elective courses and extracurricular opportunities. Paul Hornak is the athletic director. Ithaca was a member of the Central State Athletic Association before moving to the Tri-Valley West Athletic Conference in the 2006 season.

Ithaca has won a state championship in golf and numerous division and regional titles in their various sports programs.
