Istanbul Tales is the English version title of the 2005 controversial Turkish movie Anlat Istanbul. The story tells 5 stories of the troubles of modern day life in Turkey. These five tales are all mirrored to famous fairytales like Snow White and Cinderella. Every storyline was directed by a different Turkish director, which is shown in the diffent styles of the tales. The movie has stirred controversy because of the controversial topics dealt with in the movie.
