Description: Israel's Department Store in Berlin on April 1, 1933 at the start of the Nazi boycott of Jewish-owned businesses. These are members of the SA (Sturmabteilung) holding placards that say: "Germans defend yourselves! Don't buy from Jews." ("Deutsche! Wehrt Euch! Kauft nicht bei Juden!")

Source: The Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies, University of Minnesota. [1] They credit the image to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.

Rationale: The image is unique, iconic, and of historical importance. It is not believed to have any commercial value, and is being used to illustrate an article about the subject of the boycott, Israel's Department Store.
