I tagged this article as disputed, because it seems to be being used to push a POV about an alliance between King Henry of Cyprus and the Mongols. Another issue has to do with the banner of Isol, as there is an implication that the ships sailed "under Ghazan's flag", but that is a biased interpretation of the actual source material.

This article, and many others (see Talk:Franco-Mongol alliance#List of articles for review) were similarly targeted, and are being reviewed as part of an open arbitration case. Anyone who wishes can go ahead and try to clean things up, to bring the article back into line with Wikipedia's policies on neutrality. The above statement is untrue: "there is an implication that the ships sailed "under Ghazan's flag", but that is a biased interpretation of the actual source material". Here is what the actual source material says:

"Neither the Chronicle of the Templar of Tyre nor that of Amadi, more precise, indicate taht the king and the Master of the Temple were onboard these ships: "The king of Cyprus, the Lord of Tyre his brother, the Master of the Temple, the Commander of the Hospital and sir Chial [Isol the Pisan] the Ambassador of Ghazan, went to Famagusta and they held a Council to decide whether they should make the crossing or not". They decided to make the crossing, but nothing confirms whether they were part of the expedition, except for the ambassador of the Khan: in effect, the banner of the Ilkhan was raised on the ships because he was on board."

It is therefore totally legitimate and in keeping with the sources to state that Ghazan's flag was raised on the ships of the fleet. PHG (talk) 09:06, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
