Isobel Heyworth

Isobel Heyworth is a female singer-songwriter based in Manchester and the Peak District. With roots firmly in the folk genre, her music has been compared to Joni Mitchell or Beth Orton. Heyworth released her debut album, Close Your Eyes, to widespread acclaim in 2006, and has since appeared on the Digital Northerner 3 compilation album.
A frequent collaborator with fellow Mancunians, The Travelling Band, she performs regularly, both solo and with the band.
A follow-up to Close Your Eyes is planned for late 2007.
Isobel Heyworth is also a qualified doctor.
