Kafala does not mean adoption in arabic. This article also leaves out the obvious reference to adoption in the Qur'an, Surat 33:4-5. It is also useful to point out that Tunisia is the only Muslim state to allow adoption as defined in Roman law. I will make said changes to this website if there are no comments.
