[edit] Zoroastrian Kurds?

Zoroastrian Kurds in Armenia doesn't sound right. Is this meant to refer to the Yezidis? Khorshid 08:00, 24 April 2007 (UTC)

The article says Islam was forced onto Armenians, but they never converted. This is not true. Arabs, Muslims ruled Armenian region for over 1000 years, but according to this article, despite using all kinds of force, they failed to convert the Armenians ?. Its simply not true.

It simply is true, go do some research man, if it is not true than why is Armenia like 99.8% Christian right now, and the diaspora is all Christian. The only Armenians I've heard of convert to Islam were young Armenian children during the Armenian Genocide, they converted to Islam to be saved from the Turks, and before that young Armenian boys in the Ottoman Empire were converted into Islam and were made janissaries. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.174.192.171 (talk) 04:02, 29 October 2007 (UTC)

Its utter ridiculous to claim that after 1000's of years of full fledged power, Arabs/Turks failed to convert Armenians to Muslims. I guess then the same logic applies to Lebanon, Syria and many other countries where there's significant Arab Christian minority. The Armenian Genocide has nothing to do with here, that was a political act, many Armenians fled and settled in Arab lands including Syria which is dominantly Muslim country.

[edit] Hamshenis

I believe that this article is missing a section about Hamshenis. GuggiePrg (talk) 19:13, 22 November 2007 (UTC)

I think emigration is correct word in this context, so I fixed it. Grandmaster (talk) 12:20, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
